New Parents September 2021

Dear Prospective Parents!
We are sorry that we cannot offer in-school tours this year.  However, we have worked hard to provide a number of resources below which will hopefully tell you everything you need to know about the school in order to make your preferences. We hope that the range below is comprehensive enough, but if there are any outstanding questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at school where we will do our best to answer any queries.
Below you will find a link to our school prospectus.  This will tell you about our vision and values along with how we try to encourage children to flourish in everything they do.
Underneath here is a link to our FAQs document.  We have tried to address all of the practical considerations around sending your child to Winford C of E Primary School.
Below you will find a link that we shared with this year's new Reception class.  It features our Reception teacher Miss Bennett sharing a story with her class.  Please enjoy the book...it is one of our favourites!

Here you will find a link to a video that we have made to try and encapsulate our school into 10 minutes!  There is a short introduction from the headteacher, then interviews with children, quotations from last year's Y6 leavers and LOTS of photographs showing the sorts of things that we do here at Winford!

Here is a video which was made as part of a documentary series called "Dogs with Extraordinary Jobs."  It was screened worldwide and featured a section all about our school dog Fernie.  The film producers have created a a 3 minute short that summarises their film about the job that Fernie does. We also have another school dog who attends on alternate days.  Tango is a much younger fox-red Labrador who does a very similar job to Fernie.
